Why have a

Brazilian
butt lift?

Brazilian butt lift is a specialized surgery procedure that transfers stubborn fat from other areas of the body to the buttock area, reshaping and resizing it. Beautifully shaped buttocks cannot always be achieved only with exercise and diet. A healthy lifestyle is important for everyone, but in some cases, it is not enough to change the structural shape of the body. A BBL can also help reshape the surrounding areas, such as the hips, lower back, and thighs, so you can have those desired curves.

Benefits from

a Brazilian Butt Lift?

The boost in self-confidence is one of the main benefits of this kind of surgery, as it can reshape most of the body for an enhanced look. Besides that, these are some of the main things a BBL can help achieve.
You will see a significant improvement in your lower body proportions and waistline immediately following the Brazilian butt lift procedure.

Am I a good candidate

for a Brazilian butt lift?

The Brazilian Butt Lift, considered to be one of the most popular procedures in plastic surgery today, is seen as a way for people looking to improve the shape of their bodies. However, there are some restrictions that come with this procedure such as age or medical conditions which may prohibit you from undergoing it. One thing people must know before getting a Brazilian Butt Lift done on them is if they are physically ready to get the surgery and will potentially have positive results. For this, patients would need to get some tests to get a medical clearance.
In general, you are likely a good candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift if:

Brazilian butt lift

vs. buttock implants

Brazilian Butt Lift surgery and buttock implants are completely different procedures.

In the case of BBL, patients can achieve more natural-looking, full results with minimal downtime or discomfort. With the injection of your own fat, you can achieve a fuller buttock area.

On the other hand, if the patient is very lean, BBL might not be the best way to achieve bigger butts. In those cases, getting silicone bags surgically implanted is a much more effective option.

In comparison, there are many potential risks associated with butt implants including a higher risk for infection and capsular contracture which can result in unsightly scarring on your backside as well as other complications. Buttock implants also tend to not be quite as natural looking as BBL when performed by experienced surgeons.

How is the Brazilian

butt lift surgery done?

A Brazilian Butt Lift is made up of three basic steps. First, fat from the abdomen and hips is removed by liposuction. Next, this fat is prepared and injected into the buttocks through an incision in a natural crease below where padding would lie on your rear (think backside). Finally, stitches close up any open wounds so that everything heals nicely. Permanent results can be achieved over time with post-operative care such as massages to reduce scarring or wearing supportive underwear for improved posture.

Usually, surgery is performed as an outpatient procedure, with general anesthesia or intravenous sedation and local anesthesia. While it is common for a portion of the injected fat not to “take” in its new location, an experienced cosmetic surgeon can inject slightly more fat than needed so that your final results most closely achieve your goals.

How is the recovery process

after the Brazilian butt lift?

After this operation, you will not be able to sit or lay flat on your back for about six weeks, although every doctor will say their own number of weeks without sitting. Fortunately, pain medication can help manage any discomfort that may arise during these first few weeks post-operation.

During the first few weeks after surgery, you will need to sleep on your stomach or side and either lie this way or stand for all activity except using the toilet. When it becomes time for your surgeon’s approval, they may allow you to sit in a modified position with a “donut” seat cushion under your thighs so as not to put pressure on the buttocks. Sitting normally and physical activities are generally allowed six weeks post-surgery.

You should always follow your cosmetic surgeon’s instructions for a successful recovery process and listen carefully to your own body’s healing time.
